Week 21: Some service, lots of biking, and lots of people to teach!

Hola familia y amigos!!

This week was really good, and went by really fast. This Tuesday was pretty good, we have a great investigator named Consuelo and she wants to get baptized, she left to go travel for a little bit but she told us we should teach her friend so we went and taught her friend Nidia and that was awesome. Then we finally got to teach the wife of Julian, the guy who runs our internet cafe here and that went really well too! Then Wednesday  was good also because we found 4 new investigators that day and we painted for a member which was really fun. Then Thursday was pretty rough, all of our lecciones fell through but we got to contact alot so that was good, my Spanish is slowly but surely getting better. Then Friday was really fun. We had a leccion with a member's mom and sister who aren't members and that went really well and then we had something called a Cena Navedena. It was a big dance with food with all the branches in the area, it was insane there was like 400 people there and the missionaries were basically the waiters, we took food out on trays and oh man these people were savages haha, grabbing our clothes and taking food of the trays it was loco, then we left with our buddys Elder Luedtke and Elder Campos and ate at KFC. Then Saturday we biked a lot, like a lot. We had a great leccion with a new investigator who had gone to some of the church activities and that was awesome. Coming back on our bikes one of my pedals fell off haha, so I had to push off with one foot and use my bike like a skateboard, that was fun. Then Sunday was awesome, one of my recent converts Rosana gave an awesome talk in sacrament meeting and her son Sergio came! He has all of the assistances he needs so now we just need to work with him and he'll be able to get baptized!! Then today was fun, cleaned the house, cut our hair, went and ate with some other missionaries. Elder Luedtke and I got these awesome milkshakes and played jenga. That was it for this week, it was really fun, I'm glad I get to be out here serving in Colombia even if it's 90 degrees in December!! Love and miss you guys, hope you're all doing well and have a great Christmas, I love reading Luke 2 and the story of the birth of Christ, I'm glad I really get to focus on Christ this Christmas and bring more people to his gospel!!  Next Monday is Christmas so I will be emailing on Tuesday instead of Monday(same goes for next week too because of New Years )!!
